Without a doubt the best venue we’ve played at. As you walk in you instantly know this place is special, there’s a phone box on your right, a ZZ Top Ford Coupe and an old Bugatti racing car in front of you , walk past the waltzer car and the bespoke Jack Daniel’s bottle lighting and you step down to the concrete floor of an old motorbike garage complete with work benches and tool boxes , we shared the stage with 3 classic motorcycles, traffic lights and tyre advertising banners.
Imagine Walt Disney himself had snorted back a canister of nitrous oxide, sold his soul to the devil, and built the ultimate hot-rod hangout. The irony of Grumpy's is it's one of the friendliest bars in town and showcases some of the hottest unknown bands. Come for the music, stay for the conversation, and linger for the environment. If you're just visiting, this is a must see. If you're in the area, this is a must do. There's only one rule here - don't be a stranger.
What a venue! An absolutely cracking place. From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Really cool that this is also a working garage by day. The owners and staff are honest, quality people and the whole ethos behind the venue is admirable. Not many places these days are willing to encourage new bands and offer them a place to get started, but Grumpy's do and that can only benefit everyone. Bottom line : You'd be a fool not to visit this venue and what a night you'd miss out on.
As soon as I walked through the door, I felt at home, straight away, I LOVE IT! The atmosphere and the people who frequent this bar are all ultra friendly, I didn’t feel uncomfortable for even a nanosecond. This venue is seriously impressive so what are you waiting for, and no, I’m not on commission here, I just love everything about the place.

Brilliant venue! Everyone is always welcome at GB no matter what your in to. Great service, great live music and one of the best looking places I've been to around the area!
Went a few weeks ago with the girls for the first time. An it was awesome!!! We had a fantastic night . Great band ( TNT ), great atmosphere and great people. Definitely will be going again. Loved it. X
